This presentation covers some of the latest developments in suppressor-compatible hypersonic small arms ammunition. The presentation lays out the fundamentals of sabot designs, highlighting the differences between conventional sabots and Suppressor-Compatible Advanced Sabots (SCAS). The paper concludes with an overview of general performance, reductions in times of flight, increases in KE at extended ranges as well as future directions and overview of the IP landscape.
