This presentation covers some of the latest developments in advanced ammunition for aircraft like the AC-130. The presentation lays out the fundamentals of flight-safe hypersonic ammunition, shows its benefits in terms dramatic reductions in times of flight and CEP while greatly improving KE at range, thereby significantly growing effective ranges. The paper concludes with an overview of the IP landscape, and highlights the need of a logically structured ROC to bring the benefits of hypersonic aerial gunnery to the warfighter.
