Obstacle breaching is perhaps one of the most difficult and lethal aspects of ground combat operations. In collaboration with 20th Engineer Brigade of XVIII Airborne Corps, we'll outline activities during the ongoing Sandhills Obstacle Breaching Experiment and Project, discuss two UAS-focused lines of effort for obstacle breaching (External Support and Internal Support), briefly review trials and testing to date, report on plans for next-steps, and offer several lessons learned.
